Jeffrey L. Galliher practices primarily in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, including personal injury, wrongful death, real estate, employment and business disputes.
Mr. Galliher has represented numerous individuals and corporations through the litigation process, including both bench and jury trials, as well as in pursuing alternative methods of dispute resolution such as mediation and arbitration. In addition, Mr. Galliher has handled cases on appeal in both the state and federal systems. He has served as lead counsel to two investors in federal multi-district litigation involving a $450 million nationwide equipment leasing operation. In addition to helping those who have been injured by another's negligence, Jeff also represents individuals experiencing legal difficulties associated with Southern Nevada's volatile real estate market.
Licensed to practice in all courts of the State of Nevada, Mr. Galliher is also admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Nevada and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Jeff attended Ed W. Clark High School in Las Vegas and is a graduate of National University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Mr. Galliher received his Juris Doctor degree from the Arizona State University College of Law.
Mr. Galliher is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and the Clark County Bar Association where he serves on the Trial by Peers Committee. He is also a member of the American Bar Association (Section on Tort Trial and Insurance Practice), the Nevada Justice Association and the American Association for Justice.
As part of a distinguished military career spanning more than two decades, Jeff Galliher served as a petty officer in the United States Navy and later as a commissioned officer of Armor and Field Artillery in the U.S. Army Reserve and Army National Guard.
Jeff has been involved with helping the Musclar Dystrophy Association raise money as a volunteer inmate in the MDA Lock-Up and currently serves pro bono as an attorney with the Children's Attorney Project of Clark County Legal Services representing children who have been the victims of abuse and neglect.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Jeff is the ninth of eleven siblings. He and his wife Kimberley have three great kids. |
